Story
Dr. Hess was secretly creating a clone.
The beginning was for his sick wife, but she dies and falls in love with Rabana, a clone who resembles her.
Later, he became a big shot selling cloned humans on the black market, and although he was not well known to the public, he was put into the Odd Planet project at the request of the government and received public attention.
At first, there were objections from various civic and religious groups due to ethical issues.
However, it was soon quiet. This is because public opinion has been influenced by the opposition of human rights and for-profit organizations that it is better to send avatars on behalf of people than to directly engage in dangerous planet exploration that needs to be carried out right now.
As a result, Dr. Hess becomes the central figure leading the Odd Planet project by creating continuous avatars, starting with his first avatar "Noah.”
When he makes more than 100 avatars, he is killed by fanatics gathered around him.
And his clone, who he created just in case, is found.
Ravana discovers him and tries to inject memory, but fails due to the interference of the fanatics. They take her off and take Hess, a clone.
Later, Ravana takes a risk to visit Hess and try to inject memories.
But, he was already brainwashed by fanatics, he decided to become the son of God.
He refused to accept the memory of Dr. Hess, and said
"I'm not a clone, I'll live as myself, and I don't want to live the life of that doctor.”
Ravana said, "So who are you? Can you call yourself the real you who live in their fabricated memories?”
And she insisted that if he wanted to be intact, he would have to be injected with memories, face the truth, and choose what kind of life he would live.
Clone hess, who was injected with memories after hearing that, refuses to live the doctor's life or be used by heresy. At the same time, he feels like an avatar used in the Odd Planet project and goes into space to help them find their own identity.
